Located on the Great Western Highway, Minchinbury Fruit Market is a fabulous place to shop for fresh fruit and vegetables but a whole lot more can be discovered in this big green shed. The interior of the store is bright, clean and there are four extra long aisles that stretch the length of the store that are filled with an impressive range of quality fruit and vegetables.
The walls of the store are adorned with a mural of historical family photos that chronicle the Gauci family’s story, from market gardeners to award winning retailers. At the rear of the store a large refrigerated cabinet houses the perishable lines like (mushrooms, asparagus, bean and alfalfa sprouts, packaged baby spinach and rocket) and a plethora of delicious imported delicatessen lines, milks and cheeses compliment the fresh lines.
Minchinbury Fruit Market also offers a comprehensive range of gourmet groceries and an in house butcher that is open 7 days a week.

The Gauci family have been in Australia since 1949 since Sam Gauci arrived from Malta. What started out as a modest vegetable farm and roadside stall has now grown into one of the largest fruit and vegetable retailing premises in Sydney.
This long-standing fresh produce business is still a family concern, now operated by Susanne, Craig, Victor and Kylie who are third generation Gauci family operators.
